Hypnosis or hypnotherapy is a deep "awakened state" of the subconscious mind that allows people to experience detached external attention helping them focus their minds, respond more readily to suggestions, and become deeply relaxed. Hypnotherapy utilizes the heightened awareness of the hypnotic-state to help you focus on a problem more deeply.
There are many different reasons why a person might want to try hypnotherapy: anxiety, weight issues, smoking, drinking, skin issues, money blocks, relationship issues, confidence, to name a few.
Hypnosis can help with any issue you feel like is a block for you. The mind is running off old programming that were put into your subconscious between the ages of 0-7, usually to help us cope, manage or feel safe. Hypnosis helps reprogram new updated beliefs that are relevant and supportive of your current life and identity.
You might like to think of it as updating a computer with new software. Your beliefs or "outdated software" are being "updated" with new information through the process of hypnosis.
You may feel very relaxed.
You are in total control the whole time, and are talking for most of the session too. I can't force you to do anything you don’t want to do, and you cannot be taken into hypnosis against your will.
Everyone experiences hypnosis differently, some feel a light floating feeling, others feel tingling in their body, others feel nothing at all.
We begin by discussing the issue you’d like to work on. I will get a bit of your background in relation to the issue so that, together, we can set an intention for the session (what you would ultimately like to receive from this time).
From there, the hypnosis session will begin. You will be guided back to review what moments in your past might be shaping your current beliefs. This is an important part of the process as it allows you to see how those events have shaped who you are and created your current reality. We will also discuss how those moments might relate to your current concerns.
After the regression, and profound understanding of your beliefs, the process of reframing and reprogramming , you are given a personalized recorded hypnosis, done live / on the stop, to listen to for the next 28 days, that helps cement the new subconscious beliefs brought up from our session.
